Belgrade – Mašinac” is located in one of the most beautiful locations on Kopaonik, at a place called Paja’s Preslo, at an altitude of 1780 meters. The student’s home is an educational institution whose work program is coordinated with the age of the children and the climatic conditions on Kopaonik.
The facility is owned by the Ministry of Education. It has a tradition of over thirty years of work with all populations and all forms of recreational teaching.
The building “Belgrade-Mašinac” on Kopaonik was built in 1972. During the following years, additions and adaptations were made, so that now the home has 120 beds. The rooms have bunk beds and private bathrooms. Two apartments are also available. The building has a cafe-bar with a fireplace, a spacious dining room, a club area for table tennis and a mini-classroom where classes are held. In winter, there is also a ski room equipped with complete ski equipment. The building has its own central heating and a suitable aggregate.
